K, I'm Awake Now
I just got up and made myself some coffee. I've slept four and a half hours or so, and that'll just have to be enough for my body.
Last night was kinda mixed. The "Whose Line" games with everyone were fun, and I hope to watch enough to participate in one. The multiple bus rides of the night were annoying. The meeting at Sanctuary was okay, but the games they had us do were boring.
When we finally got to Greattimes (Great Times, GreatTimes, whatever), we were treated to six hours of free arcade games, putt-putt, go-karting, bumper-boating, and jungle-gym'ing, pizza and drinks, or so I thought. It turns out that some of the arcade games were broke, and more of them broke as the night went on as their "Free Play" ran out. Plus, there's only so much shooting or racing one can do for six hours. Putt-putt really can't hold my interest well, by the fifth or sixth holes I usually don't care anymore. The GoKarts had long lines, so I waited until later to ride them, meaning I got the very last race at four in the morning. It was just too cold for bumper boats. The jungle gym, a twisting plastic tube and ball pit paradise, seemed the perfect place to spend the rest of the night, but the employees kicked everyone under twelve out of it. The free pizza and drinks closed around three.
In the end, we ended up forming two teams and playing capture the flag outside. The other team got the putt-putt area, and we got everything else. Oddly, we used live flags to liven up the game. Both teams were evenly matched, and we played an hour and half without either team pulling ahead. Soon after, it was time for us to leave.
I got home at about 6:30A.
Overall, I had fun and really got my money's worth: I spent a small fortune on video game continues, ate a bunch of pizza and drank soft drinks, go-karts, and two games of putt-putt.
