UFO: Aftermath

My Dad bought this game recently. I love it. It is very similar to the old X-com games; you control a fight against aliens both on a strategic (world-wide base and research) and tactical (individual battles) level. If you played and enjoyed any X-Com game, or are interested in some great squad-based combat on the computer, I'd highly recommend this game.

New Computer

For Mitchell. Because of his good grades, my dad is purchasing Mitchell a new computer. Dad is planning to steal a bunch of the newer stuff and swap it for his old (like the LCD monitor). I think it's coming in the next two weeks.

Rescued!

My cousin, Sarah Kessans, and her friend Emily Kohl's boat overturned yesterday. They held on the underside of the boat in the wintry atlantic for sixteen hours before being picked up by a passing ship. They are both safe and well.

Andy, Andy, Alan, and Sam walk outside...

...and see a power transformer explode. It was as bright or brighter than a flash of lightning, and made a very loud sound. Then the street lights went out. I'd have stayed to see if any cool stuff happened, but it was freaking cold.

Yeah, so everyone above is spending the night at Markiewicz's house. I'm kind of tired.
